Apartment Review for Mrn, Ltd - Cleveland, OH

MRN provides heat... that is, they heat to 55 degrees. When I complained that the radiator didn't heat, I was told by the secretary that they aren't supposed to get hot! The landlord also said that my living room was a "sunroom" (this was a basement apartment), and therefore was supposed to be cooler. I called the office numerous times over a period of 2 months, didn't get any results, so I called a city inspector and finally MRN started heating to the minimum temperature required by law: 68 degrees. The vacant apartment above mine was negligently left unlocked, and one night a drunk came in. I could hear him snoring and eventually he woke up and urinated on the wood floor. The urine immediately seeped through the floor into my apartment and soiled my belongings. I called the police, and was told by one of the officers that even for $50 per month I shouldn't have to deal with this. After dealing with all of this (and more!), I received a notice that my lease would not be renewed. Thank goodness, because I was moving to a much better place anyway!
