Apartment Review for Forest Hills Park Apartments - Cleveland, OH

I am a new resident and I deal with rowdy neighbors, people blasting music on my floor and several floors away and the leasing manager does not manage the building well. The security guards have been real nice to me but all they can do is not on problem doors and ask problem tenants too stop what is wrong but they have no real authority to enforce anything. The apartment I live in looks nice at first look but after a closer look it's really a dump. I was shown my apartment and right off there were problems, I asked if they would be resolved prior to me moving in I was told yes. After having the unit inspected by a government inspector whom should have been fired because they claimed they inspected the unit twice and said it passed but after I moved in I found that some electrical plugs were not working, the cabinets were filthy, the windows was filthy, broken , wobbly and not on track and the screens had holes and other problems, the person who laid the carpet cut all phone lines so I had to call AT& T to fix my phone lines and I contacted the manager at Forest Hills Park Apartments and they initially acted as if they would not pay for it, I had to pitch a fit to get them to clean the cabinets. If anyone wants to see how ridiculous the lease is you can call me and I will fax copies to any city or state for a $10 fee to cover all my long distance fees associated with doing so. The rules mean nothing at Forest Hills Park Apartments. THey say you can have pets and many tenants do but my lease says no pets period, they say you get high speed internet, that's a lie you have to order it, they say you get satellite or cable that's a lie you have to order it. Nothing is at all what they claim it to be. I am a real person you can call me I tell you this is not the place you want to live - RUN RUN RUN!!! This place is nothing like the pictures that that advertise - or lets rephrase the pictures that they advertise maybe of certain apartments that they specifically reserve for doctors and nurses - this place is a dump the the view of the park is nice so far. I want to see what it would be like here during the summer, one of my buddies lived here for years but recently moved, he warned me not to move here but only after I already moved in, my pal says that it's ghetto ville and I have already seen some of that in certain tenants attitudes. Many neighbors seem nice but you equally have a handful that are completely the opposite. Certain members of the maintenance staff seemed nice and friendly but there is a person in maintenance and another in the office who need to take a few classes in effective communication, professionalism, customer service and a few other unnamed classes. This is by far the worst place of all places I have ever lived and would not recommend this as a good place to live. Safety is not high on this Managers list
