Apartment Review for Erie Square Limited - Cleveland, OH

The maintenance team is horrible. They do what I call kindergarten work. Their lazy & irresponsible. I wonder where they got their degree from that is if they actually have one. They don't fix up most things & when they do it takes about 2 weeks after the initial date of you having notified them about the issue and/or problem. The managment could care less. The manager seys that things will be done & taken care of, but they never are. This building is noisy & out of control. The children are always out of line. They act as if they run this place. They've drawn on the walls, broken electric outlet plate (covers) & thrown trash in the hallways. Atleast 1 a month at odd times of the day one of the children will go into a hallway & pull the fire alarm. This building was recently remolded & its slowly being torn to shreads. There is a no pet policy. However some people do have animals even though their not suppose to. There is 1 person in the building that is allowed to have his dogs. Thats because he owned the dogs before the remolding of the building was done. At that time you were allowed to have pets, but after the remolding you weren't. The building does have security, but their not that good. The officers score a 1 out of 5. Thats horrible. They don't do their job well. The police are called often to the building. Something is always going on. The EMS & Fire Dpartment are always at the building atleast 2 a month. We have issues with drug dealers, buyers & users. Their not ashamed of who they are & what they do. Most of the time they do their activity right in front of the clear view of an eye. We have mininual security cameras. There are some through out the building & some located outside, but not enough to be able to catch anything. The hallways & stair wells have no cameras except for some of the first floor areas. Their is no playground & other areas for the children and/or youth. They have to go to a recreation center just to play, run around and/or to keep themselves occupied. However there is a computer room which is for any and all tenants to occupy. There is a specified time when your allowed to go in. There are nice school programs for the children (tutoring & fun filled summer activities). This is a building that is income based (HUD). You pay no utilities what so ever. Each apartment is internet ready so your not paying for that either. There is a person that can & will come to your apartment to hook up your computer & internet. Each apartment does have kitchen appliances. Unfortuntly your not allowed to have your own appliances including a apartment size washer (the one that you hook up to the sink) & dryer.
